Please read carefully and understand the following conditions as Made in Turkey (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) only accepts bookings per the terms and conditions below.
Once you complete a reservation, you are required to deposit a minimum of 40% of the total cost. For customized tours, 50% of the total cost is also due as the deposit. Once you have received an email with your receipt notification, Made in Turkey Tours considers your reservation confirmed, and you must pay the balance 30 days before arrival.
Bookings made 30 days or less from the arrival date require full payment of the total tour cost.
If you wish to call off your booking, you must do so in writing and will be subject to the following cancellation charges:
If you do not pay the remainder of the cost of the trip 30 days before departure, Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) reserves the right to cancel your booking.
If a refund is payable, there will be a service fee of €45 charged per person.
*The above policies are not followed in the case of cancellations due to a Force majeure (e.g., Covid, travel ban, borders closed between two countries, and anything similar with proof that prevents you from traveling). In such cases, we offer complete flexibility and will advise whatever is best for the benefit of our guests.
Booking with Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) requires that you are covered by comprehensive holiday and travel insurance, including out-of-country medical coverage. Since the tours involve a significant amount of walking and some scrambling over rough terrain in certain areas, it is the individual travelers’ responsibility to decide whether they are medically fit and able to undertake such tours.
Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) will make every effort to operate the customized tours according to the routes and sites described on the finalized itinerary. However, we reserve the right to alter any tour arrangement should it become necessary or advisable, without penalty. Made in Turkey tours does not accept responsibility for changes or cancellation of the trip for reasons beyond our control, such as civil unrest, technical problems with transport, closure of airports, terrorist activities, adverse weather conditions, strikes, and all similar events whether these events are threatened or actual. Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) exercises care and diligence in making these tour arrangements but will not be held responsible for a failure of sub-contracted ancillary services.
Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) holds the right to increase the price of a tour in case of an increase in costs such as transportation and fuel, fees, taxes, or exchange rates. If this increases the total cost by more than 15%, you will be entitled to cancel your trip with a full refund of all amounts paid. The cost of the trip will not change 30 days or less before departure.
You can cancel accommodation bookings 15 days prior to check-in without any charges. Cancellations less than 15 to 2 days before arrival are subject to no-show charges based on each hotel’s cancellation policies.
The CHARTERER will be entitled to have a full refund of any payments made by him to the OWNER via the BROKER less any bank charges if the CHARTERER gives notice of cancellation 90 days or more before the Charter Date. The reason for cancellation is the Coronavirus and virus-related disruptions such as formal governmental bans or a reasonable travel restriction that prevent the CHARTERER from traveling to Turkey from their country of residence/traveling, including quarantine obligation, flights cancellation under travel bans, or the OWNER’s / BROKER’s inability to deliver the yacht under the same circumstances.
If the CHARTERER submits a written notice of cancellation is made 89-30 days before the Charter Date. The reason for cancellation is either a governmental ban or a travel restriction between the home country of the charterer and Turkey, including a local lockdown that prevents the CHARTERER from traveling to Turkey; the CHARTERER will be entitled to reschedule the Charter Period to an alternative date within 18-months of the original Charter date, which will be discussed and mutually agreed with the OWNER / BROKER (with relative price differences if any would apply).
In the event of the CHARTERER’s written notice of cancellation is made 30 or fewer days before the Charter Date under the same concrete circumstances as mentioned above, the CHARTERER will be entitled to reschedule the Charter Period to an alternative date only by presenting to the OWNER / BROKER a proof for the cancellation.
*Being hesitating to travel, feeling not ready to board a flight, having party member/s affected by Coronavirus or who will be limited to make traveling, having party member/s forced with quarantine obligation, not complying with travel regulations and instructions by airlines or governmental travel guidelines, flight cancellations with alternative traveling options won’t be accepted as a condition of force majeure.
It is also clear that an increase in the number of Covid cases in Turkey will not be considered a reason for cancellation or postponement.
Travel insurance, Cancellation/Curtailment insurance, and CHARTERER’s Liability Insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the CHARTERER.
In case of cancellation by the CHARTERER, under the relevant circumstances, the OWNER / BROKER will use his best endeavors to re-charter the yacht if possible.
Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) will recommend or book flights on-demand at the desired Turkish local airport, giving our guests the freedom to:
Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) has no connection with any airline and suggests making your flight reservations yourself.
In any event, the cancelation policies of the airline company (Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Onur Air, Anadolujet, Onur Air, or Sunexpress) will be applicable.
Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.) is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or irregularity arising from negligence by any third party or its customers. Because your trip’s airline travel component is not paid to us, we will not provide any repatriation.
In case of complaints, report immediately to Made in Turkey Tours (Scuzo Travel Sey. Tic. Ltd. Sti.). We will do everything to resolve the matter as fast as possible.
