From the Blue Mosque, head in the opposite direction to the Hagia Sophia- Istanbul’s grandest building. The Hagia Sophia is 1500 years old. Over the centuries, the structure has evolved from a medieval church to a mosque to a museum and a mosque again, giving it one of the world’s most bizarre architectural designs. Proceed to the Basilica Cistern- an underground cathedral-sized cistern that is supported by 336 columns. Marvel at the sheer size and ingenuity that went into constructing the structure before proceeding to the Topkapi Palace to glimpse into the past lives of Ottoman royalty. My husband and I recently traveled to Turkey with our friends and Made in Turkey Tours was phenomenal! Ismail was so responsive and helpful from the very beginning. We were there for just over two weeks and everything went so smoothly, from accommodations to transportation. We were always picked up on time and had plenty of room in a nice, comfortable van. Additionally, Ismail booked all of our domestic flights between cities, which was so helpful. We visited Istanbul, Cappadocia, Izmir, Şirince and then ended with a week-long sail on a Gulet from Marmaris to Bodrum. He had so many great recommendations and we feel like we got to see so much! This made for stress-free planning because everything was carefully arranged ahead of time.

The tour guides in each city were so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We opted for private tours, which really enhanced our experience.

This really was the trip of a lifetime and we would 100 percent recommend Made in Turkey Tours. You won’t regret visiting Turkey and booking with Ismail.

Ismail was an exceptional trip organizer and planner! We had an incredible time seeing all the sites and experiencing Turkey. The trip far exceeded our expectations. Ismail was attentive and open during the planning process and equally as available for assistance during our time in country. The trip went off without a hitch, our transfers were always on time, clean, and very safe. Every guide that Ismail planned for us was informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend both visiting Turkey and using Made in Turkey Tours as your trip planning service! A huge thank you to Ismail!!
