Day 2Devrent Valley, Zelve Valley, Pasabaglari Valley, Avanos, Sunset

Early in the morning, leave for the first stop Devrent (Imagination Valley) got its name from the strange rock formations called “fairy chimneys.” Unlike other fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, Devrent is instead formed more randomly, and most of the rock formations look like a silhouette.

Head to Zelve Open Air Museum to see one of the earliest monasteries’ ruins. Zelve plays an essential role in Christianity, and we will discuss the monastery while walking around three different paths. A quick ride will take us to Pasabaglari (Hermits Valley), where you will enjoy a nice break after hiking off-the-beaten-path of this beautiful valley.

A short drive will take us to Avanos Town, the center of 2,000 BCE terracotta, to enjoy a lecture about this art and visit the workshop.

We will end the day climbing up to Red Valley (sunset point), which is the best location to enjoy the beautiful lights and shades of Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3Hot-air Balloon, Pigeon Valley, Goreme, Uchisar Castle, Zemi Valley

Enjoy the optional Hot-air Balloon ride in the early morning and get transferred back to your hotel for some refreshments and breakfast. We will then walk through the beautiful old stone houses of Uchisar and get to the Pigeon Valley, where we will enjoy a beautiful climbing down to get up to Goreme town and enjoy a nice local lunch in the area.

Our final hiking is a pleasant downhill at Zemi Valley, which is instead a more comfortable (medium-level) one.

Enjoying the photo stops of this most prominent single rock formation of the region, get transferred to your hotel—dinner and overnight.

After a local lunch, head to Love Valley (White Valley) & Baglidere (Honey Valley). After enjoying a spectacular view of Goreme, head to Goreme Open Air Museum, one of the Unesco World Heritage Sights covering 9-11 century Byzantine rock-cut churches. Dinner and overnight.
