Day 1Embarkation at Gocek

Your Mediterranean yacht will be waiting for you in the gorgeous port town of Gocek, famed for its love and dedication to yacht tourism. The town sits on a beautiful bay and has six marinas teeming with life, making it a popular choice for visitors and sailors. Once you’ve checked in and everything is in order, you can spend the rest of your time exploring the gorgeous resort town. You can visit some of its historical sites or spend your time relaxing at one of its famous sandy beaches.

Overall, the town has an upmarket feel with many places to eat and shop. The marinas around the bay are lined with excellent restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets worth your while. If not, you can enjoy the breathtaking Mediterranean scenery of stunning islands and mountains covered with beautiful pine forests.

Later on, return to your private yacht in one of the bays for a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 2Cleopatra's Bath - Tersane Island - Bedri Rahmi Bay

Morning sail to the picturesque bay of Cleopatra’s Baths for a taste of its crystal-clear warm waters. Centuries ago, the bay was home to magnificent baths commissioned by Marc Anthony as wedding gifts to Cleopatra. The beautiful queen would spend hours bathing in this very spot, enjoying the bay’s warm thermal waters.

Stop here and spend some time swimming and snorkeling in the historic ruins of the ancient baths. Enjoy the clean, fresh waters bordered by majestic pine trees.

From the bay, depart for the largest island in the Gulf of Fethiye, Tersane Island (Dockyard Island). It once had a thriving Greek population but was deserted during Greece and Turkey’s population swap of 1923. Here, you will explore the historic ruins of their abandoned homes. The island was also used as a dockyard by the Ottoman Navy during World War 1 and is home to the last remaining Seljuk-built shipyard in Turkey.

Proceed to the beautiful Bedri Rahmi Bay for some more swimming. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3Fethiye - Turunc

Your private cruise takes you to Fethiye, a picturesque town with incredible views of the surrounding mountains in the morning. There is a lot to enjoy here; pristine beaches, intriguing heritage sites, and magnificent archeological wonders. With lots of exciting places to visit and incredible sights along the way, Fethiye lets you appeal to your adventurous side without ruining the sightseeing experience.

Start at the historic Kaunos Rock Tombs and explore the 3000-year-old ruins, including a theatre and a temple. There are also many beaches and islands to explore, including Iztuzu beach, a popular nesting site for sea turtles. The hidden bays’ waters offer fantastic swimming experiences, with the occasional underwater caves charm the divers.

Other activities include a safari up the mountains, rafting, and paragliding. After a day of swimming and exploration, sail to the Turunc Fountain Bay for an overnight stay.

Day 4Oludeniz - Butterfly Valley

Today, an early morning cruise will take you to one of the most incredible beaches in Europe, Oludeniz. Home to the dazzling Blue Lagoon and numerous stunning beaches, Oludeniz is as picturesque as any location gets. It has an outstanding view and a vibrant waterfront, making it the most photographed beach on the continent.

As it sits near the foot of Mt. Babadag, the area has lots to offer in terms of activity. Visitors climb to the summit for magnificent views and enjoy an exceptional paragliding experience over the superb lagoon. You can also spend time in the beach resorts and restaurants dotting the unspoiled beaches of the blue lagoon and enjoy some sunbathing and snorkeling in the calm waters. Kids can spend their time at the waterpark.

Another pristine location at Oludeniz is Butterfly Valley, with an incredible natural allure. The beach is friendly and relaxed alongside a spectacular waterfall that tells when the world was clean and untouched.

Return to your yacht for dinner in the evening and call it a day.

Day 5Gemiler Island - Church of St. Nicholas

Cruise to the small Gemiler Island, an island believed to be Saint Nicholas’s birthplace (Yes! The one and only Father Christmas). It is an incredible island with stunning natural beauty and magnificent ruins from an ancient Byzantine city.

The remains of the ancient city’s marina sit peacefully on the seafloor, making for an excellent snorkeling location. If you get enough of the refreshing waters, the island’s beautiful beach will be waiting for you. After relaxing, you can head out to the island to explore its historic structures.

Walk along the iconic processional walkway- a magnificent Byzantine piece of architecture that runs from the sea to the island’s top. Waiting for you at the top are the ancient remains of the Church of St. Nicholas. The best time to hike the processional walkway is during the evening, which gives you the chance to enjoy a sublime view of the sunset.

Return to your yacht for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 6Yassica Islands

Early morning sail for Yassica Island, where you will enjoy a swimming session in the shallow waters of its beautiful harbor. After some time in its crystal-clear waters, board the yacht for a cruise to the idyllic Yassica islands.

The Yassica Islands are five small islands, including one where the devil is said to have lived (Yassica Island). The island is quite beautiful, though, and its ruins are incredible for exploration. After exploring the other islands, you can take advantage of the surrounding waters, making for a great spot to snorkel.

The submerged ruins and other ancient structures make for a one-of-a-kind snorkeling experience. There is also a lagoon and magnificent beach on the largest island, making for an ideal swimming location for kids.

Day 7Yassica Islands - Gocek

After a few more hours of the charming Yassica Islands, sail around to Gocek Island for your last cruise stop. Then, you can explore the island again or spend time at the beach.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and spend the night.

Day 8Disembark at Gocek

Enjoy your breakfast on the yacht and say goodbye to the crew as you prepare for departure.

FAQs

Will I book my own domestic flights?

We prefer to book domestic air tickets to have better control over connections and embarkation & disembarkation times. However, if you choose to book on your own, please let us know to suggest the best possible options.

Can we arrange land tours before and after the gulet?

Exactly! And that is the best way to enjoy the closeby sites once you are there as Turkey offers numerous experiences to enjoy.

How much does it cost to cruise from Gocek to Fethiye in a week?

Yacht rental fee: Avg. an ok gulet starts from 9000+ EUR total, including all meals for a couple or a family of four. However, once you select this route and advise the travel dates, we will check the availability of different gulets (ranging up to 180,000 EUR total for a week for the most luxurious options) and send you all the detailed info on these available yachts.

Beverages: while you can bring your favorites, we will send you a shopping list for drinks as well. The crew will do the shopping on your behalf and hand you the supermarket receipt on arrival. The idea is all about the time of cooling it all and getting your cold drinks ready before arrival.

Watersports & Equipment: Flippers, snorkels, fishing tackle, cards, and board games available onboard. Some gulets even come with kayaks, or Ringo, too. However, if you would like to enjoy one of the days with more watersports such as jet-skis, bananas, etc., it is also available at an extra charge.

Tipping: the best judgment is always all yours, and we do recommend %7 to %10 of the total yacht rental fee.

What else we need to know?

Availability: gulets are chartered Saturday – Saturday, and if your travel calendar doesn’t match, we will still plan the best possible options.

Route: the recommended itinerary above is just a sample, and depending on the weather conditions or crowds, the captain will pick different alternatives. Again, once you are on board, you can discuss and ask for other reasonable options for sure.
